Teleconference
Modern teleconference services provide great alternatives to meeting with your clients and employees in person. The typical service is booked in advance and the reservation will come with a toll-free phone number and two codes. To reduce costs or support international callers, the teleconference service can usually provide a phone number and area code as an alternative to the toll-free number.
Most teleconference services provide two codes, one for the leader to activate the conference and one for the participants. This provides financial control, as the conference will not be accessible to anyone unless the leader enters the code, and will end when the leader terminates their call.
Sound quality on a teleconference can be a problem if participants are using speaker phones, or do not have the ability to mute their phones while they are in conference. Many services offer special key sequences which are well worth learning to mute the call or adjust the volume, etc.
